I reflected on her person once more. Her graceful stubborn neck, her incredible abilities, her love and passion, her core and beliefs, and that devotion.
I reflected on the tales she told me, the fellowships we shared, her fears unspoken and dreams unseen. I recall our last conversation. We agreed to disagree, or rather she disagreed with me though she made it sound as if I cooperated with her disagreement. 'We agree to disagree!' suggests mutual uncooperation. It is a very ingenious make-belief sentence mechanism about an agreement that does not exist. It's disagreement masquerading as agreement.
